Owena Quarry
The Owena Quarry marks the beginning of our story. Established in 2016 by Mr. Festus Akingbaso together with his business partner Mr. Bian, Owena was the first quarry developed under what would later become Akinchang Limited.
From the very beginning, Mr. Bian played a key role in the engineering, planning, and construction of the quarry site, helping to create a solid operational foundation that continues to support our activities today.
Over the years, Owena Quarry has grown into a reliable source of high-quality granite products, serving construction companies, contractors, infrastructure projects, and local businesses throughout the region.

A gift that strengthened our capacity.
In 2021, Akinchang Limited was given an extraordinary opportunity to expand its operations. Through the generosity of Reverend Father Charis Oguntime and the Catholic Church, the Okeigbo quarry site became part of our company. This valuable gift allowed us to further strengthen our production capacity and continue our growth journey.
Since becoming operational, Okeigbo Quarry has developed into an important part of our business, providing additional resources and helping us meet the increasing demand for granite products.
The site has enabled us to expand our product range while maintaining the same commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction that our clients have come to expect. Today, Okeigbo Quarry continues to contribute significantly to our success and remains a key part of our long-term vision.

Akinchang Limited was founded by Mr. Festus Akingbaso, whose dedication and vision created the foundation of the company. Today, the next generation is building on that legacy.
His son, Kenedy Akingbaso, has taken an active role in expanding the company beyond its traditional markets while preserving the values that have guided Akinchang Limited from the beginning. With the establishment of Akinchang Limited in the Netherlands in 2026, Kenedy began a new chapter in the company’s international development.
